How we verify our questions

A practice test is only useful if it is right. This page explains, step by step, how every test on KorayGlobal is built from an official source and checked before it is published.

1. Every test starts with one official source

Each test is built from a single official or public-domain document, linked on the test page: the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services civics question list, a state’s official driver handbook or manual, or a published research instrument for personality and interest tests.

We do not write questions from memory, from other practice sites or from forums. If a fact cannot be traced to the official source, it is not published.

2. Every question points back to that source

Each question shows the part of the source it comes from, such as the question number on the USCIS list or the chapter and section of a driver handbook, and an explanation of the correct answer.

The U.S. civics questions and their official answers are reproduced word for word, because the real interview uses exactly that list. Driving questions are our own wording of the facts in the handbook. Personality and interest items are reproduced as published, under their stated licences.

3. Each fact is matched to the official text before publication

For driving tests, every question is linked to a passage of the handbook that supports it, and our authoring tools check that this passage really appears in the full official handbook text. A question whose supporting passage cannot be found does not pass.

We use facts, not the handbooks’ wording. Our tools reject any question, answer, explanation or page text that repeats eight or more consecutive words of the handbook, and the published site is scanned for handbook text before every release.

4. When a handbook is out of date, the current law wins

Handbooks are not updated as often as the law. When we know a handbook is older than a rule change, we check the current law. For example, Florida’s official handbook is dated August 2023, so its legal numbers were checked against the current Florida Statutes, and the statute is cited where the two differ.

5. The exam simulation follows the official rules

Each exam simulation uses the official number of questions and pass mark, and any special rule the official exam has, such as New York’s requirement to answer at least two of the four road-sign questions correctly.

6. An independent review of every question

After a test is written, every question is reviewed against the official source in a separate pass by a reviewer who did not write it. The reviewer checks that the marked answer is supported, that no other option is also correct, and that the explanation, the source reference and the page text are accurate.

In our first full review, in October 2026, no question had a wrong marked answer. Findings about wording, explanations and page text were all fixed before publication, through the same checks as new content.

7. A visible “last verified” date

Every test shows the date its questions were last checked against the official source. We update that date only after checking every question again, not when we make unrelated changes.

The tools we use

We use software, including AI writing assistance, to draft questions and to run the checks described above. Software does not decide what is true: nothing is published unless it can be traced to the official source and passes the checks and the review.

Personality and interest tests

These tests use published research instruments that are in the public domain or licensed for this use, such as the International Personality Item Pool and the O*NET® Interest Profiler. Each test page names its instrument and its licence. Results are for self-understanding only and are not a psychological assessment or diagnosis.

Found a mistake?

Rules change and mistakes happen. If you think a question is wrong or out of date, please tell us through the contact page and include the test name and the question. We check every report against the official source.
