Official sources only
Facts about a payment service come from that service’s own website, help centre, pricing pages and legal terms, or from an official authority. We do not use blogs, forums or comparison sites as sources.
Every fact is dated and quoted
For each fact we record the page, the date we read it and a short quote from it. A script re-reads every source and fails if the quote is no longer there, or if a number we publish is not on the source page. When that happens, we re-check the fact before changing its date.
Verified facts, explanations and gaps
Statements from a source are linked to it. Our own explanations and advice are written so that you can tell them apart; in guides they carry no source number and never contain figures. When we cannot confirm something on an official page, we say it is not verified rather than guess.
No rankings for sale
Services are listed in alphabetical order. No company pays for its place, and we do not publish ratings or reviews we have not earned through our own checks.
Translations
The interface is available in English, Arabic and Turkish. Detailed financial facts are published in English first and translated only after a review, so that no important figure is published through an unchecked translation.
Corrections
If you find an error or a change, tell us through the contact page. We re-check the source and correct the page.
